A brief note on Trap Cave: I intend to skip it. I don’t want to install an experimental exe to my computer, and the scuttlebutt is that it has a lot of untranslated German, a language I don’t speak. So, Did Not Vote, moving on.
I wasn’t sure about downloading The Hangover either, since I hadn’t seen anything to encourage me about it, and I had to downgrade my Adrift interpreter (curses!) (or rather, install 3.9 since they can exist simultaneously, but I just didn’t have it lying around) to play it. But… what the hell.
…So, no actual blurb when you start the game up, huh? Promising. So I hit ‘look’ and I apparently have an ‘ill-loking bed.’
But seriously this is a totally classic beginning! It’s just like the Hitchhiker’s Guide! Does my robe contain the Buffered Analgesic? … Well no, I guess not. …Hey, when I step outside the mail is at my feet. Good lord don’t forget that.
The author doesn’t realize that ‘women’ is the plural, and some responses don’t make sense. When I try to look at the man in in the diner…

Now when I get on the bus, it explains that the driver is the man from Burger Club, except, I couldn’t see him, when I was inside Burger Club. How odd.
I type ‘z’ about 600 times while I’m on the bus. Apparently the magic word is ‘wait’ and ‘z’, though the standard shortcut, doesn’t work in the sense that you can get off the bus. It does work in the sense that you get the generic ‘time passes’ message.
And here is where I’m giving up with the game…
