Critical Distance is asking a tough question again, this time for February, and I have to admit I’m a little stumped there. I have written about love in the context of games. I drafted something for Valentine’s Day that I ultimately didn’t post because it was just so girly that man, I don’t know. But that really isn’t the question that’s being asked. It’s not really “how do you feel about the portrayal of love in games” or “the love interests in games” but, “do you love a game and does the game love you back?”
I can’t totally wrap my brain around it. I mean, I fucking loved Saints Row The Third. I’m not sure it’s that kind of love. I guess all I can really say is I’m looking forward to seeing how others have tackled this one.
